Websites Using WordPress: 2.4 Million+, Ready To Download
A list of every website using WordPress we found in the world's top 20 million domains, each one checked and verified in 2026. With theme, plugins, version, page builder, hosting, language and country for every site.
From 100 million domains to one clean CSV
Lists of websites using WordPress are often scraped once and resold for years. This one was built by visiting every domain: we downloaded each homepage, looked for WordPress fingerprints, and checked the doubtful cases again with deeper probes. Parked domains, "coming soon" pages and broken installs were moved into a separate file, so the main list contains sites that are actually online.

How many websites use WordPress?
In our 2026 scan of the top 20 million domains we confirmed 2,443,447 websites using WordPress. 2,424,552 of them are live, finished sites; the other 18,895 were placeholder, maintenance or broken installs. Millions more small WordPress sites exist outside the most popular domains, so the worldwide total is far higher.
How was this list of websites using WordPress built?
We took a public ranking of the 100 million most popular domains, visited the homepage of every domain in the top 20 million, and checked it for WordPress fingerprints: the generator tag, REST API links and headers, theme and plugin files served by the site itself, WordPress cookies and more. Unclear cases were probed again on /wp-json/, the RSS feed and the login page.
How accurate is it?
Every site in the list was confirmed individually. 99% are confirmed by a definitive marker (high confidence); the rest show strong evidence such as WordPress theme and core files served from the site itself. Each row has a confidence column so you can filter.
Does it include email addresses?
No. The dataset contains domains and technical information about each website, not personal data. Use it to find and qualify sites, then follow the anti-spam and privacy rules that apply to you when you reach out.
Why aren't all WordPress sites in the world included?
The scan covered the top 20 million domains of the source ranking, which is where almost all sites with real traffic are. WordPress sites further down that ranking, and many tiny or unlisted sites, are not included.
Can I open it in Excel?
Yes. All files are CSV in UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, so accents and non-Latin titles show correctly. The full list is split into parts of 1,000,000 rows because Excel stops at 1,048,576 rows per sheet.
Which plugins can you detect?
Plugins that load files or leave markup on the homepage. Plugins that only run in the admin area, or only on other pages, can't be seen from outside, so plugin counts are a lower bound.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes, for your own business: prospecting, research, analysis, product decisions. You can't resell or redistribute the dataset itself. See the license page.
