Free sample: 1,000 WordPress websites
The sample is 1,000 random rows from the full list of 2,424,552 WordPress sites, with every column. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets to check the format and the quality of the data before you buy.
What's in the sample
- The same 20 columns as the full dataset: domain & final url, homepage title, popularity rank, wordpress version, theme & child theme, plugins on the homepage, e-commerce platform, page builder and more.
- No sign-up tricks: it's a plain CSV file, about 240 KB.
- Rows picked at random from all popularity ranks, then sorted by rank.
- UTF-8 CSV with a byte-order mark, so non-English titles display correctly in Excel.
What the full dataset adds
- All 2,424,552 sites, split into Excel-sized parts.
- Ready-made lists: WooCommerce stores, Elementor sites, outdated WordPress, managed hosting and the top 100k.
- 91 country files and a bonus file of 18,895 placeholder and broken installs.
Opening the file
Excel: double-click the file, or use Data → From Text/CSV for full control over column types. Google Sheets: File → Import → Upload. Python / R / databases: it's a standard comma-separated file with a header row, UTF-8 encoded.
How to judge the quality
Pick a few rows at random and open the sites: check that they run WordPress, that the theme matches the theme column, and that the plugins listed are really loaded on the homepage (your browser's developer tools show the /wp-content/plugins/ files). That's exactly how the full dataset was built, site by site.
